    Marie is a Psychologist with 25 years of experience, in working with Adults and her skill set includes training in Advanced level CBT and Trauma-based CBT, Scheme therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Acceptance commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Gottman Therapy for Couples (though not as an exclusive couples approach).


    Marie has facilited workshops for various groups and has been engaged by Government and Private organisations to work with employees in conflict resolution, mediation and effective communication.


    With a Masters in Health Psychology, she has a special interest in improving people's Health Related Quality of Life, and utilises evidence based practice to improve the management of stress, including organisational, anxiety, trauma, health anxiety, men's health, women's health (fertility, perinatal, menopause), oncology, chronic illness, pain and personal injury.  She also enjoys working with the life transitions, relationships and the elderly. 


    Days at Torrens House: Tuesdays and Saturdays

    These change with time.  Being new to the area it's currently discovering the beautiful Fleurieu through walking, while listening to audio books and planning a new house build.  I always love time with family and friends and I'm looking forward to volunteering in the community once settled.

    Ali has returned to Torrens House, having previously worked there for 8 years. She has also worked at Calvary Hospital running an oncology program, for CAMHS as a Research Manager, and at Novita Children's Services. She has run workshops for school communities on managing anxiety in children.

    Ros is a registered Psychologist ( General) has provided counselling, EAP and Critical incident services to South Australians for the past 10 years.
